What happens next

  1. Michael will schedule, plan and promote an Arvada Fire neighborhood walk. He will also Canvass the neighborhood handing out flyers and inviting neighbors to attend the event. If any of the 83rd Pl residents want to help, I can provide a simple flyer you can share with neighbors.

  2. Everyone is encouraged to invite additional 83rd Place residents to join the text group so neighbors have an easy way to stay connected and share preparedness information. If a neighbor wants to join, ask them to text me at 415-827-4920.

  3. Sharing defensible space information and recommendations. Arvada Fire will provide recommendations during the neighborhood walk. In the meantime, residents can learn more through the City of Arvada’s defensible space resources: Defensible Space

  4. Plans for our next neighborhood gathering.‍ ‍Based on the strong interest expressed Saturday, we’ll look at another informal preparedness gathering after the neighborhood Fire walk.

Help Us Build Participation

Please encourage one or two nearby neighbors to join the text group and attend the upcoming Arvada Fire walk. The more neighbors who participate, the more useful these efforts will be for everyone on W 83rd Place.
